:: Saudi Arabia has launched a massive relief campaign against the cholera epidemic in Yemen. The aid supplied includes sending medicines to treat those infected and to slowdown the spread of the epidemic.

The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action sent 25 trucks carrying 550 tons of medicines to Yemen.

The World Health Organization (WHO) said the number of cholera deaths rose to 315 in three weeks, while another 30,000 are expected to carry the infection.

The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action has an ongoing contact with the rest of the GCC countries, through the GCC Aid Coordination Office, as well as the rest of the Arab coalition countries to implement urgent programs and develop a plan to contain the epidemic and to protect the Yemeni people from the risks and consequences.

Also, the center cooperates with international organizations such as the World Health Organization and UNICEF and the International Medical Corps.
