:: Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz initiated urgent relief to combat and contain the cholera outbreak in Yemen via King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid (KSCRHA).

This was an urgent response to contain the crisis, which began to take a serious curve in Yemen after the outbreak spread in the past few days.

The priority of this aid campaign is to increase the support of laboratory equipment that helps with the early detection, diagnosis and the provision of necessary treatment.

Saudi efforts to support the Yemeni people in the face of this disease have been praised by Yemeni authorities.

The outbreak of the disease is due to the accumulation of waste. The absence of waste disposal in the capital Sanaa is among the main reasons that contributed to the outbreak of the disease and the high number of cases.
