A leading charitable organization involved in screening women for breast cancer plans to set up five mobile units.

Breast cancer is common among women. The percentage of breast cancer is 14.8 percent of all cancers in the Kingdom and also it represents 27 percent of the cancer found in women in Saudi Arabia.

The educator said that the necessity of setting up these mobile units was prompted due to the Kingdom’s high incidence of breast cancer

She said the mobile units would be in areas where women are commonly found.

She was speaking on the side lines of a National Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign launched by Riyadh Gov. Prince Faisal bin Bandar on Monday.
