The youths trapped on Al-Sharourah Mountain after they were rescued by Civil Defense personnel.

RIJAL ALMAA, Asir — Civil Defense teams rescued three young men who were trapped on Al-Sharourah Mountain, near Wadi Ainain, south of the governorate. Asir Civil Defense spokesman Col. Mohammad Al-Asmi said a citizen notified emergency services that the three men had climbed the mountain to picnic there and could not make it back down. He added rescuers managed to rescue the men despite the rugged nature of the mountain and they are in good condition. He warned the public against attempting to climb rocky and rugged mountains as such activities require good physical fitness and special equipment to minimize the risk of falling off.
