Al-Qassabi named adviser at Crown Prince’s Court

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah on Sunday issued a royal decree relieving Dr. Majed bin Abdullah Al-Qassabi of his position as head of the crown prince’s private affairs. Al-Qassabi has been appointed adviser at the crown prince’s court with the rank of a minister.

He also appointed Abdul Aziz bin Saleh Al-Fareeh deputy governor of Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) with the rank of excellence.

He issued another decree appointing Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Mohammed Al-Mohanna president of the committee for looking after the wealth of minors and those in the same category, with the rank of excellence.

King Abdullah also appointed Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman Al-Ouhali president of the Public Transport Authority.

Also on Sunday, King Abdullah promoted seven judges at the Court of Grievances.

Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Nassar, chief of the Court of Grievances, said the royal decision included promotion of appeal judge to the chief judge of the Court of Appeals, head of the court to appeal judge and judge-A to appeal judge.

These promotions came as part of King Abdullah’s efforts at strengthening the Kingdom’s judicial system, Al-Nassar said while commending the king’s efforts to modernize the country’s judicial system.
