Qatar may resort to international law if the boycott continues

Qatari Minister of State for Defense Khalid al- Attiyah.

:: Qatar might resort to legal measures that have not been determined yet, if the Arab Quartet continues to hold its position against Doha, Qatari Minister of State for Defense Khalid al- Attiyah stated in an interview with Russian RT channel.

Attiyah called for the lifting of what he labeled the ‘blockade” before initiating any dialogue, despite announcing earlier the willingness of Qatar’s Amir to negotiate the list of demands made by the countries combating terrorism.

Legal experts doubt Doha’s reliance on international law, since the terms and conditions of the blockade do not apply to the country’s current status.
