Israeli-Christian Sami Karra killed his daughter for being in a relationship with a Muslim man.

:: Israeli-Christian Sami Karra, 58, has been arrested for stabbing his 17-year-old daughter Henriette Karra for being in a relationship with a Muslim man, authorities reported.

According to the prosecutors, Henriette was killed in her home in Ramle a day after her high school graduation. A criminal indictment filed in Israeli district court this week revealed that Henriette was in a relationship with a Muslim man against her parents’ will, reported CNN.

Due to constant threats and abuse from her family, she decided to leave home and stay with her boyfriend’s mother. To get Henriette back home, her parents threatened her and her boyfriend’s mother.

The threats lead the boyfriend’s mother to report the case to the police but the teenager refused their help. The indictment said, that a month later, the teenage girl went to stay over at her friend’s house. When Sami found out where she was, he threatened and slapped her.

‘Just like I sat in jail, I am ready to sit in jail my entire life, I don’t care,’ Sami allegedly shouted at his daughter. On 13 July, Henriette sent $100 to her boyfriend, who was jailed for a week for an unspecified charge.

Later on that day, she told a family member that she will convert to Islam. Upon hearing the news, her father stabbed her three times, according to the indictment, and was arrested on the same day.
