Former Qatari emir Hamad pictured in hospital after ‘minor surgery’
Qatar’s former emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani was pictured recuperating in hospital.
:: Qatar’s former emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani was pictured recuperating in hospital on Friday in a tweet by his son Sheikh Joaan.
Sheikh Joaan said that his father had suffered a leg fracture that “required a simple surgical procedure.”
He did not give further details on how Sheikh Hamad, the father of current emir Sheikh Tamim, fractured his leg.
Sheikh Joaan also posted an image of his brother Sheikh Tamim visiting their father.
