Saudi King selected for King Faisal International Prize for Service to Islamic

King Salman is being awarded for his care over the Two Holy Mosques.


Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud was selected to win the King Faisal International Prize for Service to Islam this year.

King Salman is being awarded for his “care over the Two Holy Mosques and his constant quest to confront the difficult conditions experienced by the Arab and Islamic two nations,” a statements from Saudi Press Agency read.

This came during a statement by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the King Faisal International Prize, announcing the winners of the King Faisal International Prize for the year 2017.
