Royal order to boost facilities for worshippers at Grand Mosque

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has issued directives to the concerned authorities to make use of the expanded areas and the northern, western and southern yards of the Grand Mosque in order to provide more services to the pilgrims.

He also instructed that new water closets and places of ablution within the expansion project be utilized for the benefit of pilgrims.

Smooth operation of escalators and lifts be ensured to facilitate the movement of pilgrims in addition to monitoring the air-conditioning and lighting systems, sound and television surveillance, the king’s directive said.
