Over 1,500 mines removed in Syria’s Palmyra

Russian forces have helped remove more than 1.5 thousand mines in the Syrian city of Palmyra since it was taken from ISIS militants by government forces in March, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Wednesday.
