Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif recently sponsored the ceremony for soldiers who graduated from specialized courses in the protection of security facilities in Jeddah.

The crown prince was represented on the occasion by Assistant Interior Minister for Operations Gen. Saeed bin Abdullah Al-Qahtani.

“We congratulate these 1,413 graduates of the 16th session. They trained in the protection of security facilities as well as in all types of weapons,” said Maj. Gen. Saad bin Hassan Al-Jabari, commander of security forces’ installations.

He added that the graduates also trained in applying the knowledge they learned if and when the situation calls for it and in dealing with others in accordance with Islamic values.

He said that the support of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif had “a great impact on the advancement of the troops’ training in the protection of facilities in a systematic manner.”

He said that an institute for the protection of the installations in the Eastern Region will be established. It will be called Mohammed bin Naif Institute for Protection and Security of Installations.

The institute will support the training process in accordance with the standards to achieve the crown prince’s vision to perform efficiently the task entrusted to the security forces.

“The forces’ task is intended to protect the installations and ensure security in the various regions of the Kingdom,” Al-Qahtani said.

He said that “they are duty-bound to discharge their duties and responsibilities like those who had gone before them in the field of security work.”

“Like their predecessors before them, the troops underwent training to enhance security in all parts of the Kingdom,” he said.
