Deepika Padukone’s picture with Hollywood superstar Vin Diesel has been the talk of the town ever since the picture came out. There have been huge speculations whether Deepika will be cast as the female lead in the long awaited sequel to the ‘XXX’ franchise!

After a batch of Bollywood actors venturing into Hollywood, we now have Dippy joining the bandwagon. One source revealed that the actress is indeed on for the next installment of the ‘XXX’ franchise with Vin Diesel but nothing has been heard yet straight from the horse’s mouth.

The dimpled beauty only mentioned that Vin Diesel is a good friend of hers and a great person. She hinted that she could be working with him soon, though she did not make any official announcements.

Oh, spare her! our ‘Piku’ is not in a mood to reveal anything about the film with the ‘Furious 7’ star, but some of her colleagues were so excited that they’ve recreated the moment.

Yes, it seems that the ‘Housefull 3’ crew found this news quite hilarious as they posted a similar picture with a Vin Diesel dummy. Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh posed for the picture with what they call Vin Petrol.

Akshay scribbled on his social networking handle, “Since Vin Diesel is busy with @deepikapadukone, we at #Housefull3 are making do with Vin Petrol.”

Speculation is rife that Ms Padukone may be nothing but a mere prop in ‘XXX’. It’s happened before. Remember Anil Kapoor’s obscure cameo in ‘Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol’ or more recently Ali Fazal’s blink-and-you-miss-it role with Vin Diesel in ‘Furious 7’.

Let’s hope Deepika gets a better deal from Diesel than others.
