Prince Mishal Bin Majed

Prince Mishal Bin Majed, governor of Jeddah and chairman of the supreme committee for Jeddah International Book Fair 2015, paid an inspection visit Saturday to check on the preparations for holding the book fair.

It is scheduled to be launched on Dec. 11, 2015 under the auspices of Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, emir of Makkah Province and adviser to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

Preparations are under way to hold the 10-day Jeddah International Book Fair in Southern Obhur on an area of 20,000 sq. meters with the participation of a large number of Saudi, Arab and foreign publishing houses.

In remarks on the occasion, Prince Mishal highlighted the importance of holding the book fair, describing it as a significant cultural event taking place in the governorate of Jeddah.
