The King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Center for Disabled Children in Jeddah has recently signed a new agreement with Marriott Hotels across Saudi Arabia.

The agreement is part of a partnership program between the center and the accommodation sector enterprises to work to serve the disabled children.

The arrangement through which these facilities, envisages that after obtaining permission from the guest, add to his bill the amount to be donated for the center’s benefit.

“The agreement aims to provide services to the community on a large scale by holding community partnerships with government and private agencies for care and rehabilitation of children with disabilities and to promote awareness of the culture and to mobilize community support for the issue of disability,” said Dr. Zuhair Maimini, director of the King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Center.

Maimini thanked Marriott Hotels for their efforts in implementing the program during the coming period.

They are pioneers in the field of social responsibility through their ongoing initiatives to serve the people of this great country,” he said.

Khaldoun Hayajneh, general manager of Makkah Marriott Hotel and chairman of the Marriott Business Council in Saudi Arabia, expressed his pride at signing the agreement with the center. “It will help them achieve the dream of our disabled children,” he said.

The center for disabled children in Jeddah, with an area of ​​90,000 sq. meters and located on the King’s Road, was opened in 1998 . It offers educational, medical and rehabilitative services for children with disabilities and uses the latest medical devices and means of educational and entertainment.
