Emir of Makkah Prince Khaled Al-Faisal will today inaugurate a dialysis center in the holy city.

The center is part of the projects of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah International Foundation for Humanitarian Works for kidney patients.

The foundation has earlier opened dialysis centers in Riyadh and Jeddah and will open more centers in other cities and towns.

King Abdullah had given special attention to the health of his subjects and has directed to open free-of-charge kidney dialysis centers in various parts of the Kingdom.

Built along the Jeddah-Makkah Expressway, the center covers an area of 7,722 sq. meters and has 100 dialysis units in addition to a laboratory, a pharmacy and an outpatient clinic to examine patients.

The center has a special warehouse to provide various kinds of medicines which may be required by the patients before, after or during the dialysis.
