Pakistan’s envoy fetes 10 firms

The Saudi Build 2015 at Riyadh Exhibition Company ended on a successful note with active participation from 35 countries. About 800 companies from various sectors of construction and build participated in this mega event.

Owing to the importance of boom in the build sector of Saudi Arabia, the recommendations of commercial section Riyadh were honored by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and they participated in this mega event after a lapse of four years.

TDAP sponsored 10 Pakistani companies from the build sector to promote the Pakistani construction and build products in the Kingdom. The Pakistani Exhibitors comprised of companies from the marble, tiles, steel works, fans, electro-mechanical and safety apparels like gloves, shoes etc.

Reputable brands of Pakistan like Shabir tiles from Habib Group, GFC fans, Marble City, Thal Group, Sprout, Watt n Valt, Al Kous, Suntex and Hilten Enterprises participated in this four days event from Oct. 26-29.

Pakistan Ambassador Manzoor Ul Haq specifically attended the opening ceremony and visited all the Pakistani stalls to give his unstinting support to the Pakistani companies participating in this event.

The executive members of Pakistan Investors Forum headed by its president Asghar Qureshi also attended the event. Commercial Counselor Waseem Hayat Bajwa extended full support to every exhibitor in the promotion of their products by sharing the requisite data of Saudi importers in the related fields. The Pakistani companies got an overwhelming response from prospective distributors and also got substantial offers for the import of their products.

On the last day of the event, Pakistan Embassy and the Pakistan Investors Forum held a sumptuous dinner in the honor of Pakistani Exhibitors at Novotel, Riyadh. More than 35 people attended the dinner with Pakistani and Saudi businessmen from the construct and build sector. The dinner was followed by B2B meetings between the Pakistan-based companies and Saudi and Pakistani businessmen.
