Think Amitabh Bachchan and you instantly think of grandeur, of class, suaveness and modesty. Big B has ruled Bollywood and everyone’s hearts with his maverick acting, dialogue delivery and phenomenal expressions.

Big B is making his latest foray on the small screen of television in a never-seen-before persona in upcoming TV show ‘Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi’.

The megastar has turned all his attention to the show. Buzz is that he is personally looking into every aspect of the show — be it creative, music and content. He is very much excited about the project and had decided to choreograph the trailer himself, which shows some cool moves.

The promos of the show are out. The concept of ‘Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi’ is not known but its trailer gives a glimpse of a fun-filled avatar of Big B, who makes a simple ride in an elevator interesting with an impromptu jig and crazy antics.

“The concentration really is for the work on hand at composing and singing and rehearsing for the show on TV… It’s always so shattering to be doing something for the first time and hoping and praying all goes well,” Big B said on his blog.

It has been reported that the actress-entrepreneur Shilpa Shetty Kundra will be appearing on the first episode of the show.

Unfortunately, Senior Bachchan’s first day shoot for ‘Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi’ was disrupted after a fire broke out on the sets of the forthcoming TV show.

The 73-year-old star, who is returning on Star Plus after over 15 years, was on stage when the blaze broke out. The shoot was stopped for around 45 minutes.
