The Interior Ministry has arrested 83 people for allegedly supporting terrorist groups. The arrests took place last month, up to the first day of Eid Al-Adha, in locations across the country, a local publication reported the ministry as stating.

Among those arrested were 66 Saudis, seven Syrians, three Yemenis, two Indians, two Eritreans, and one each from Morocco, Jordan and Nigeria. The ministry is allowing the suspects to communicate with their families and lawyers through its portal.

The ministry is also allowing the suspects to apply for family visits, and conditional release for special circumstances such as deaths and weddings. They can also apply for financial support or compensation, including for medical expenses once they are released.
