The foothill of Al-Qara Mountain was throbbing with life during the Eid Al-Adha holidays.

The beautiful terrain and historical caves at the Al-Qara Mountain in Al-Ahsa beckoned citizens as well as expatriates during the Eid Al-Adha holidays.

The mountain and its surroundings, including the oasis of palms, turned into a beehive of activity with families and individuals seen enjoying and clicking pictures and selfies.

The ongoing construction work, which has led to the shutting down of outlets of the internal caves, failed to prove a dampener.

Mito, a Filipino visitor, said: “Al-Qara Mountain provides natural recreational opportunities for all ages. Most young women prefer to enter and explore the caves, while the young males enjoy climbing the mountain and visiting the towns scattered around.”

Abdo Al-Rahbani, A Yemeni resident, said: “I came from Dammam to visit the mountain for the first time. It is so exciting to climb the mountain and enjoy its natural landscape and see the oasis of palms surrounding it.”

Some visitors were seen taking pictures and videos of the scenic beauty. Some of them said they wanted to send the same to families back home.
