Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said he has asked France for modern military equipment, noting that he had set three conditions on any deal, according to Al masry al youm.

In talks with parliamentarians Sunday, Sisi said the agreement would need to be at a low cost, swift and come with comfortable loan facilities.

He said an Egyptian committee traveled to Paris to follow up on the deal.
