Nasser Mohammed Al-Othman, director-general of the Gulf Press Union (GPU), said, the union’s conference will be held Jan. 26-27 in Muscat, responding the invitation of Omani Press Society. The event will be held under the supervision of Turki bun Abdullah Al-Sudairi, head of the union.

“The conference will discuss important press issues in the Gulf region. The meeting will approve proposals and projects that have been offered by members of GPU. The conference will boost cooperation between the Gulf states. Prominent personalities will be honored during the conference,” he said.
