The exhibition will also be organized at the residence of the Consul General Aftab A. Khokher on Nov, 7.

“The event will be inaugurated by the OIC Secretary General Iyad Madani,” he said, adding that the exhibition is a call to the international community to play its role to end the violations and also to resolve the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN Security Resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

“We thank the Saudi government and OIC for their continuous support for the resolution of the Kashmir dispute,” he said.

The Kashmiri Committee, Jeddah chapter, observed the Black Day on Oct. 27. The committee reaffirmed the fundamental principles and objectives of the United Nations Charter that clearly recognize the inalienable rights of self determination of people.

The resolution commended Pakistan for its unconditional political, moral and diplomatic support for the Kashmiri struggle.

Denouncing the continued Indian occupation of the state of Jammu and Kashmir, it called on India to stop the gross and systematic human rights violations of the Kashmiri people and allow international human rights and humanitarian organizations unhindered access to the occupied state.
