Bushfire in Ballasmar extinguished

BALLASMAR — A bushfire that broke out Friday afternoon in Al-Mihwar village in Ballasmar, north of Abha, was successfully extinguished. Spokesman for the Directorate General of Civil Defense in Asir region, Col. Muhammad Abdulrahman Al-Assimi, said the fire broke out in large area containing shrubs, trees and plants. The fire was brought under control and extinguished by a team of firemen. Investigations are under way to determine the cause of the fire.
