Yemeni worker dies of thirst in desert
The body of the Yemeni worker who was found dead in a desert area east of Najran.
NAJRAN — A Yemeni worker died of thirst after he got lost in a desert area east of Najran, said Najran Police spokesman Capt. Abdullah Al-Ashwi. The man’s car got stuck in the sand and he could not free it; he called one of his friends and told him exactly where he was. Although the rescue teams combed the area several times, they could not find the man because of the difficult terrain. One of the locals was able to find the car and the man’s corpse. The spokesman said the man died of thirst and heat.
