Double Dhamaka: Guess what? The grapevine has it that Karan Johar, the celebrated B-town’s TV host has pulled off a filmy coup, Bollywood style; that he has paid Salman Khan Rs.150 crores to star in “Shhuddhi.” And, that’s not it… in this master stroke, say media reports, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions had also apparently signed up Mr.Perfect — Aamir Khan for the same amount — Rs. 150 crores for another film. Double dhamaka? Apparently not.

KJo immediately rubbished the news. Furious with the media reports, KJo took to Twitter to clear the air. He tweeted: “If this is true then I am also looking for a job, a house, and a LIFE!!”

But truth is out, as Salman Khan recently admitted that he has signed up with Karan Johar his ambitious project “Shhuddhi” (which KJo had reportedly offered to Aamir Khan). Reports had pointed to the fact that Aamir showed no interest in the film. But surprisingly, a source close to Dharma Productions unveiled in an interview to a leading daily that Aamir was indeed keen to work with KJo. If you remember, earlier this year, Aamir Khan had expressed on the celeb show “Koffee With Karan” — that he initially did not like the director much, but had a change of mind later. Aamir had actually made his “Koffee” debut in the latest Season 4 with his wife Kiran Rao.

Rumors of the recently-separated Sussanne Khan-Hrithik Roshan’s Rs. 400-crore alimony has been doing the rounds and has spiced up the social media. This hot topic was trending in no time.
Soon, as is the trend on social media, people bandied about jokes on this. These reports were dismissed by sources close to the couple. Meanwhile Hrithik himself took up his defense in a social networking platform to say, “Fabricated news articles. Demeaning my loved ones. Testing my patience.”

According to sources, the marriage of Salman Khan’s sister — Arpita Khan to upcoming actor Aayush Sharma is slated for January next year in Hyderabad. They had got engaged recently.

And Salman Khan’s family is planning to host a big bash on Arpita’s birthday, on Friday. And, as the rumor mills go, this will be Arpita’s last birthday before her marriage.

Love is in the air, so to say. A much-noticed relationship is getting sealed. Soha Ali Khan will take the plunge into matrimony, after a living-in with long-time boyfriend Kunal Khemu. And, as per the Chota Nawab Saif’s guess, the glam wedding venue will be Pataudi.

Like all mothers’ cherished dreams, Sharmila Tagore’s wish to see her daughter Soha happily married will come true. Like her bro, Soha, will follow suit. Taking the Twitter route, she said, “It gives me great happiness to share with you all that Kunal proposed to me in Paris with the most perfect ring in the world and I said ‘yes’.”

Congratulation messages poured in. One of the first to congratulate her, was her buddy, Neha Dhupia, who promptly tweeted: “@ sakpataudi wow that’s the best news ever! Congratulations, now come back sooon u both… Yes @kunalkemmu ur one hellluva lucky guy!”

And, Cupid strikes again? Bollywood actor Karisma Kapoor may have filed for divorce from businessman Sanjay Kapur, but it seems love knocks at her door again. The actress is allegedly seeing entrepreneur Sandeep Toshniwal, the CEO of a pharmaceutical company, who has recently initiated action to divorce his wife – which adds a new dimension to the story. A source spills out, “Sandeep and Karisma were introduced by common friends and have been inseparable ever since.
Both Karisma and Sandeep share a lot of interests, and they recently celebrated Karisma’s birthday together.”

The source further predicted: “They might marry by the end of the year.” Happy times are here again!
