Kingdom advises against travel to Ebola-hit areas
RIYADH — The Ministry of Health has advised Saudi citizens and residents not to travel to Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea until a further notice due to the outbreak of Ebola virus in those countries.
The ministry stressed that it is closely monitoring the situation in the infected region in coordination with the World Health Organization (WHO).
The ministry’s advise, it said, comes in the wake of the precautionary measures being taken by the Kingdom since April. They include stopping Umrah and Haj visas to citizens of those countries.
