Family rescued from burning house
Rescue workers evacuate a disabled man and his family members from the burning house in Makkah’s Um Al-Jood neighborhood.
Civil Defense firefighters rescued a disabled man and four of his family members from a fire that broke out in their house in the Um Al-Jood neighborhood of Makkah. Makkah Civil Defense spokesman Col. Saeed Sarhan said the fire was started at the basement of house. It engulfed air conditioning units, furniture and other contents. He said nobody was injured and an investigation is under way to determine the cause of the fire.
