Jubail launches summer sports, cultural programs

The Royal Commission of Jubail is holding various events for young and old this summer including sailing, football, volleyball and entertainment evenings.

The Royal Commission of Jubail is holding various events for young and old this summer including sailing, football, volleyball and entertainment evenings.

The Royal Commission of Jubail (RCJ) has launched 37 summer events at the industrial city including sports, cultural and entertainment programs for young and old.

The programs started at the beginning of the summer vacation with activities for children at the Knowledge and Creativity Center in Al-Fanateer, a female entertainment program in Al-Huwaylat Entertainment Center, and a course in preparing healthy food at Al-Fanateer Entertainment Center.

There was also a group wedding ceremony in the Urban Center in Al-Matrafia neighborhood, a sailing and rowing course at Jubail Marine Sports Club, and jet skiing, football and volleyball at the youth beach in Al-Bahar neighborhood.

The month of July will see sailing in the Kingdom’s Championship, a choir evening at the conference hall at Al-Fanateer, a Ramadan charity project in Al-Ferdous Entertainment Center, and a women’s social evening in Sadafah women’s center.

There would also be a beach volleyball championship for youth teams at the youth beach in Al-Bahar neighborhood, a Ramadan program for women at the Al-Huwaylat Entertainment Center, an open day for women at the Al-Fanateer Center, and a Ramadan evening for children at the Knowledge and Creativity Center. The RCJ will also have a special program for retirees.

Summer events include Ramadan programs organized by members of the Jubail Volunteers Club at Jalmoudah entertainment center, the Royal Commission’s Billiard Championship at the same center, a program entitled “I have changed in Ramadan” at the conference hall in Al-Fanateer, and a bowling championship at the Marine Club.

The events and programs will continue during the Eid Al-Fitr holidays including the “Eid Gift Project” at mosques, a social event entitled “Eid Nights” for women at Sadafah women’s center, an event for retirees at the social club, and an entertainment night for children at the Knowledge and Creativity Center.
