The Royal Commission for Jubail (RCJ) has distributed 12,000 large and small bags to holidaymakers here to encourage them to keep the city clean.

Big bags have been given to people at the city’s beaches and parks, while small ones have been distributed to drivers at traffic lights. The campaign includes various signboards encouraging motorists not to throw their waste from their vehicles. It has been launched by the RCJ’s landscaping and irrigation department.

There is a huge influx of visitors to the city throughout the year, especially during the summer vacation because of the recreation and other facilities provided.

The RCJ has established many parks with vast green spaces, which include children’s playgrounds, parking lots, drinking water taps and public restrooms. It has also planted flowers and trees along the city’s roads, in neighborhoods, public squares and beaches.
