The smugglers arrested by Border Guards with hashish bricks in Al-Dayer Bani Malik in eastern Jazan

AL-DAYER — Border Guards in Al-Dayer Bani Malik in eastern Jazan region arrested five smugglers who were in possession of 99 bricks of hashish while two others managed to escape. Jazan Border Guards spokesman Brig. Gen. Abdullah Muhammad Bin Mahfooz said patrol units in Al-Dayer sector were able to apprehend several smugglers after they were monitored and there was an exchange of gunfire.

They were arrested while two armed smugglers, who were giving cover to others, managed to escape. In another development, Bin Mahfooz said Border Guards in Al-Dayer Bani Malik found 7,150 live bullets in a deserted house while combing the area.
