Riyadh Gov. Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz received key executives from NAS Holding in his office. The delegation during its visit to the prince and congratulated him on the Royal confidence appointing him as governor of Riyadh.

During the visit, the prince received a commemorative plaque from flynas and a special airplane model presented by Sulaiman Al-Hamdan, CEO of NAS Holding, who headed the visiting delegation.

The prince thanked the visiting delegation while at the same time highlighting the role of flynas as a national carrier that is a major contributor of air transport inside and outside the Kingdom.

In addition to the NAS Holding CEO, the visiting NAS Group delegation included Saad bin Saleh Al-Azwari, CEO of NasJet for Private Aviation, and Wael Al-Sarhan, director of marketing and communication at NAS Holding.

This visit represents an important milestone for the group, having a low cost carrier (LCC) that is making huge strides in the LCC + industry, headquartered in Saudi Arabia and having a fleet of 27 aircraft flying to 26 destinations inside and outside the Kingdom via 950 weekly flights.

flynas revealed its new identity this year and has made significant investments to upgrade its fleet and launched business class. The national carrier is getting ready to operate its first flight from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah to Cairo International Airport on Sunday (June 1) this year expanding its reach to 7 destinations into Egypt.

Launched in 2007, flynas has successfully operated over 140,000 flights carrying more than 15 million passengers, a number that has steadily grown over the years.

Flynas unveiled a new modern identity in 2013 and made significant investments in enhancing its aircraft fleet and introducing a dedicated business class cabin.
