Woman gets divorce, children’s custody
A Riyadh court has granted a young woman’s request to divorce her husband owing to his being a confirmed drug addict.
The court also upheld the woman’s request for custody of their two children, Sabq online daily reported on Monday.
The husband in his thirties is currently in a jail in another city for drug addiction. According to the Ministry of Justice’s new policy which requires family disputes to be settled in the court of the town or city where the woman is staying, the husband was brought to Riyadh.
