Fire destroys clothes warehouse; no injuries
A readymade clothes warehouse on fire in Al-Ajwad district of Jeddah
JEDDAH — Fire destroyed a readymade clothing warehouse in Al-Ajwad neighborhood of Jeddah on Saturday. Makkah Province Civil Defense spokesman Col. Saeed Sarhan said 14 firefighting and support units were rushed to the scene. The firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent structures by spraying foam, he said, adding that security bodies and Red Crescent paramedics were also on the site to provide assistance. No injuries were reported.
