Saudi King and Crown Prince Condole Kuwait
In a heartfelt gesture of solidarity, Saudi Arabia’s King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed their deepest condolences to the Emir of Kuwait on Monday following the passing of Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Salem Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah. Sheikh Salem, who lived to the age of 98, was a prominent figure, having served as the Chief of the National Guard since its inception six decades ago.
King Salman conveyed his sorrow in a message, stating: “We were saddened to hear of the passing of His Highness Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Salem Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah—may God have mercy on him. We extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to Your Highness and the family of the deceased. May God Almighty shower him with His infinite mercy, grant him forgiveness, and place him in His vast gardens. We also pray for your protection from any harm.”
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman echoed these sentiments, sending a similar message of sympathy and prayer.
According to the Kuwait News Agency, Sheikh Salem was laid to rest on Monday after the sunset prayer, leaving behind a legacy of service and dedication to his nation.
