The Al-Matar branch municipality closed down a Pizza Hut restaurant in Al-Bawadi neighborhood in Jeddah after an inspection team found a number of health violations at the establishment. The closure comes as part of the municipality’s efforts to maintain the safety and suitability of fast food, and to protect citizens and visitors in Jeddah.

A newly opened Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in Jeddah was also closed down after authorities discovered a number of health violations, including dealing with food waste in an unhealthy manner, covering the walls with china pieces, a failure to stack food stuffs neatly, in addition to employing workers without health certificates.
