The Yemeni embassy in Saudi Arabia held Saturday a press conference announcing a series of measures taken ahead of Yemen peace talks.

During the conference, Abdul Aziz Jabari, the head of the committee preparing for the talks, said the dialogue would result in effective decisions that would be obligatory for all parties.

He also said that the talks are aimed at supporting the legitimacy of state institutions as they are essential to “saving Yemen.”

Jabari added that the committee will make sure that the outcome of the talks are implemented.

Also during the conference, advisor to the Yemeni president Yassin Makkawi, said the talks are based on the Gulf initiative and the U.N. Security Council resolution last month.

He also said that all political parties will be represented at the talks and that the popular resistance will also participate in the conference, even symbolically.
