The Specialized Criminal Court in Riyadh sentenced on Thursday two Saudi siblings to prison after they were convicted of inciting prisoners to attack officials of the Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution (mabahith).

The first defendant was sentenced to two years in jail and a travel ban for the same duration. He was convicted of threatening the mabahith jail chief and posting tweets inciting prisoners to attack mabahith officials. The second convict was given a one year jail term and a travel ban of the same duration for persuading his brother to post tweets inciting prisoners to attack mabahith officials.
