Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz met with Moroccan King Mohammed VI at his palace in Riyadh on Sunday to discuss bilateral ties and regional developments.

The leaders also “reviewed the latest developments at regional and international arenas,” according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The session was attended by Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Nayef and Deputy Crown Prince Prince Muhammad Bin Salman. On the Moroccan side, Prince Moulay Rachid, the king’s brother, also attended the talks. King Mohammed left Riyadh the same day.

Morocco is a member of the Saudi-led Arab coalition carrying out an air campaign against Houthi militia targets in Yemen. The campaign, which began on March 26, was launched at the request of embattled Yemeni President Abdrabbu Mansour Hadi for help against the Iranian-backed Houthi militia.
