Weather predictions and forecasts indicate that large areas of the Kingdom will be affected with successive unstable weather conditions as a result of a number of cold waves in the upper atmospheres.

Part of these atmospheric conditions include rainy clouds, expected to form above Riyadh skies and the surrounding areas to the west, east and north. Some of the rains are expected to fall also on the Eastern Province.

Pouring rain falls will be light to medium, with some streams of rain water flowing into a number of valleys to the north of the capital. Chances of rain will drop in other areas, but light rains are expected to fall on Baha, Asir and Najran, which will stop during the night.

Weather conditions in Tabuk and Al-Jouf will be affected by some clouds stretching across Egypt through the northern and northwestern regions of the Kingdom, accompanied by light to heavy rains that will concentrate mostly on Qurayyat and some villages to the north of Al-Jouf.

The clouds may stretch to affect Hail and north of Madinah, with chances of light rain falling in the area.

On Tuesday evening, new weather conditions will prevail in Madinah, Hail and Tabuk where clouds will cover the skies, showering the region with light rain falls that will discharge heavier rains over Hail. The impact of such weather conditions will be relatively weak on Qassim and Riyadh.

Wednesday evening more unstable weather conditions will prevail as a result of a polar front hitting the region. As a result, Hail will record temperatures of 4 degrees Celsius, Riyadh 12 and Qassim 8 to10. As the polar front approaches, very cold weather is expected during the coming week, with minus zero during the night and the early morning hours.

This cold front will be accompanied by strong winds, dust and heavy rains, mostly concentrated on the north of the Eastern Province while the northern regions are expected to be showered with rain falls.
